Plant Life At Owen Hat Houston British Columbia (Pictures)


Above Photo: On July 6, 2016 my wife, daughter, son-in-law, 
grandson and I took a drive to Owen Hat to see the hexagonal 
columns which is just outside Houston, British Columbia. 
Also I took photos of some of the the plant life found there.

Owen Hat is an area which has 1.9 kilometers of trail which goes to the top 
of Owen Hat. It is an ancient volcanic feature. There is rock climbing in the area.

Directions/Map: 
Drive west of Houston and turn left off Highway 16 onto the Morice River Road. 
At kilometer 27 go straight onto the Morice-Owen FSR. 

Just before 51 kilometer, turn left onto the Owen. Go to approximately 
8.5 kilometers on Owen North Road. The recreation site is on the right.
