It has come to my attention that the Houston Public Library is really struggling on the financial end of things.
The District of Houston puts forth the major funding towards the library, the province puts up some funds, although that hasn’t changed since 1987.
The other money the library receives, is from putting on some great programs for all of us, and especially our children.
We need our library, so if you have some spare change, would you be kind enough to drop it off at the library. It is most appreciated.
Also if you would like, they will issue a tax receipt for your donation.

Toni came up with a great idea, I would visit people in town, tourists, people who are in business, just anyone to do short video interviews and add the clips to the Houston, B.C. blog. So this will get started this week.

Residents of Houston or Travelers can come in and use the computers for free.
